things and stuff:

1. this weekend we went to zoo lights. it was on my list of christmasy things to do. we managed to go the one night it was actually cold (and snowing!). so i took one picture.

actually, our original plans involved dinner at founding farmers (our second attempt) but the reservation got lost. third times a charm?

2. while wandering around old town on sunday, we ran into randy fenoli of TLC's say yes to the dress.  i'm not sure what i'm more embarrassed about- the fact that i recognized him or that i awkwardly stared at him until he said hello. and then i yelled HIII!!

it was anna's first (pseudo-)celebrity sighting!  and fitting that my sister was there. we have a history of celebrity sightings since we snagged press passes at a WB party in LA.  what?  7th heaven was totally cool back then.

3.  basil had to get a dental cleaning and some biopsies yesterday.  sean was stuck at work so i picked him up.  as soon as we got home basil raced (well, he was half-sedated so raced is a bit ambitious.  he walked with a purpose while trying to stay on all fours, for sure.) around the house looking for sean.  then he continued to whine and cry for sean until about 11 when he finally (thank god!) fell asleep.

my mouth hurtth.

nothing would console him, not dinner, not toys, not an invitation to sleep on the bed (!!).  i'm trying not to take it personally but COME ON.  what am i?  chopped liver?

  1. don't feel bad. jon is totally my dogs' favorite, too. they fight over who gets to sleep on the rug on his side of the bed. meanwhile, my rug always stays empty and cold. ha ha. i figure i'm the disciplinarian and jon just gets to play good-times-guy. hm...i just saw a future of my life with kids. :)
my boss's daughter is getting engaged on christmas and she's planning to go to that sample sale from Say Yes to the Dress. You couldn't pay me enough to deal with that. Funny you saw him. I see the judge from Night Court sometimes on our dog walks (he lives in the neighborhood across the street)...but I honestly didn't know who he was until they pointed out his house on a city tour. ha ha. celebrity sighting fail!
