it's done!  the nursery is done!  well, until i decided to change/add/fix something else.

i think i said i'd sew a crib skirt but yeah, that hasn't happened yet.  i'm still only about 1/3 of the way through with the quilt and it's not looking good.  one sewing project at a time!

we decorated blocks at my shower and i used some to prop up our monitor.  sidenote: night time video monitors are so creepy.

i covered the little pillow that came with our chair with this fabric.

of course, my favorite thing in the room is the ninja mobile from pink cheeks studios.  her stuff is just so cool.  that thing hanging on the wall is temporary.  i'd like to make something with her name, date of birth and stuff once she gets here.  you know, when i have plenty of time to craft.

i really had a lot of fun decorating this room.  and now we just wait for the baby!

  4. Holy crap woman, this is the best nursery I have ever seen. I'm not even just trying to make you feel good. Best room for keeping a baby in ever. Every nook is so pretty, and I very much appreciate a room that doesn't look like Babies-R-Us vomited all over it.

Also, I follow you on Instagram o' course... and I love that you posted that feet picture. I knew pregnant ladies' feet did that but it's funny to actually SEE it!

  5. I love it! Beautiful and simple. It doesn't scream "BABY!!" which I think is extra nice and means you won't have to redecorate for a long time. The dresser rehab turned out great, where did you get those glass knobs? I'm looking for some for our house.
I already told Jon to just get ready to fork over the cash for a glider like yours. It looks so nice and comfortable!

    1. the knobs are from anthropologie. i bought them during their after thanksgiving sale and also figured i had saved on reusing an old dresser, so i could splurge on knobs.

the glider is sooo comfortable. and was one of the smallest we could find. you will be amazed at how BIG baby stuff is. especially the cribs. so crazy. new business venture, maybe? small scale baby furniture!
